New Year's Eve In Times Square: Rita Ora Has 'Been In A Lot Worse Places!'

'It's just singing the song and having a good time and jumping around and partying and bullsh--ting,' she says of her performance for 'MTV's Club NYE 2013.'

Rita Ora brought the party to New Year's Eve when she took the stage for"MTV's Club NYE 2013."
It all went down inside MTV's famed Times Square studio, and Ora has about a million reasons (or four) why it was the perfect place to ring in the new year.
Rita Ora Rings In The New Year
"I've been in a lot of worse places on New Year's Eve, believe me!" she told MTV News backstage before she took the stage to perform "How We Do (Party)" during the special, which also featured Ne-Yo, Ke$ha and "Jersey Shore" stars Snooki and JWoww. "So this is a really nice place to be on New Year's Eve. It's warm, it's good, it's fun, you've got your friends here."
It might seem like a bit of a drag to have to work on New Year's Eve instead of going crazy at a friend's party, but Ora definitely doesn't see it that way. "It's good fun," she said. "There's really nothing better than performing, so I don't mind it. I love it."

When Ora hit the stage, her performance resembled more of a rock gig than a pop one, with the blond Brit bouncing around onstage and even getting into the mix with the audience.
How We Do (Live)
"It's me and the boys," she said before she performed. "It's a live band. It's actually just about rocking out. It's got no structure to it. It's just singing the song and having a good time and jumping around and partying and bullsh--ting."
