Netflix is down on Christmas Eve

A problem with Amazon's AWS cloud infrastructure has brought downstreaming video site Netflix. Actually, the site has been down since 4pm EST and Netflix has been tweeting all day with updates. According to Netflix Cloud Architect Adrian Cockroft, the outage is only on specific devices which were not named. This means that if you're Mark Cuban and you can't get Netflix to work on your Samsung phone, heck, it might just work on your Nokia Lumia model. 

One of the latest updates from Netflix informs us that "We continue to experience increased errors for Elastic Load Balancing API calls in the US-EAST-1 region and continue to work towards resolution." You can follow the updates by viewing the Netflix Twitter page at the sourcelink. It might not be that exciting, but it certainly beats watching a black screen.
