Taylor Swift's Right! Amy Poehler Is 'Going To Hell'

Amy Poehler knows there's "a special place in hell" for her, but not for the reasons that Taylor Swift referred to in her Vanity Fair cover story.
Hours after Swift's VF interview made waves, the "Parks and Recreation" star responded to the singer's retort about the jokes she made at the Golden Globes regarding Swift's highly publicized personal life.
Swift didn't seem to find Poehler and co-host Tina Fey's remarks about her love life very funny. Back in January, while the ladies emceed the star-studded event (Swift was in attendance), Fey joked that the singing superstar should stay away from Michael J. Fox's son, Sam who was on hand that night as Mr. Golden Globes. Poehler on the other hand, joked that she should "go for it." Fey also shared that she felt the singer should take herself off the dating scene and opt for some "me time."
In the April cover story, Swift didn't seem amused by any of it. "You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people," she said, in reference to their remarks. "Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women'." (That Couric-referenced quote is actually something former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright originally said.)
So, how does Poehler feel about Swift's reaction? She told The Hollywood Reporter, "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff."
In the same Vanity Fair sit-down, Swift addressed the public's perception of her, calling all the speculation "sexist." She said, "For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that's taking something that potentially should be celebrated — a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way — that's taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist."
