Samsung Galaxy S IV to sport a mobile health pad accessory, can you say S Health?

Samsung's medical device equipment products were elevated to a separate department within the company's organizational structure last year, and it seems that the mobile health trend will also be pursued.

Korean publication has allegedly been tipped by insiders that the Samsung Galaxy S IV will come with a health pad accessory of sorts, perhaps similar to the one for the S III, that will let users measure their blood pressure, glucose levels, BMI, pulse rate and so on, likely accompanied with the dedicated S Health app on the device to make sense and keep track of those.

We've been hearing the same rumors about Galaxy S III, too, but the undertaking wasn't ready for prime time then, it seems, with only the S Health app and pad making a hush-hush cameo, so it will be interesting to follow if Samsung will really leverage its medical device expertise with the Galaxy S IV, expected to be announced next month.
