For owners of the HTC One S, the update includes Sense 4+, an enhanced UI with better camera performance, a new landing page and event/map view in the gallery, and improvements in power management (better battery life). The update is a whopping 612MB. Ouch. We'd hate to be the developer that gave birth to that! The update brings software version 3.16.401.8 to your HTC One S.
Also receiving an update, but to Android 4.1.2, are both the Motrorola DROID RAZR and the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX, These are not the HD models, and so far there is no documentation or a changelist from Big Red.
If you own any of these handsets and have received the update to Android 4.1, let us know by dropping a comment in the box below. And if you have an Android model that hasn't yet received the update to Android 4.1, perhaps a trip to the Santa at the mall will enable you to make a last minute request.
