The app allows users to view movies or television shows already purchased or rented from Amazon Instant Video. The videos can be found in "Your Video Library". You can also purchase movies or television shows from a library of 140,000 videos, using the mobile Safari browser on your iOS device. If you are a member of Amazon Prime, you can choose from a library of 30,000 free videos.Your Watchlist lets you track television shows and movies that you might want to watch later. You can add new titles or old favorites, and come back later to watch them instantly. Amazon's announcement comes right after Verizon and Coinstar announced that they will offer a video streaming service over iOS and Android using the Redbox name, for $8 per month. The new app allows Amazon to compete with other video services like Netflix.
