Update to Google Voice kills Android 4.2 bug

On Tuesday, we told you about a problem with Google Voice that was happening on Android handsets running Android 4.2. Those with the new Google Nexus 4 or an updated Samsung GALAXY Nexus (GSM version only) running the latest build of the Android OS could not seem to send out any texts using Google Voice. Once the user started typing in the name of the recipient, Google Voice would force close.

Google sent out an update to the Google Voice app on Wednesday that clears up the problem. Available at the Google Play Store, Google Voice version 0.4.2.66does away with those annoying f/c issues and allows you to get your text messages addressed and sent out.
