Nokia Lumia 920 sells out at Telstra, demand “beyond amazing”

While AT&T contends with slow fulfillment of customer orders for the Lumia 920, in the land down-under, Telstra exhausted its inventory for pre-orders in less than a day.

After facing some stern customer reactions on Twitter, Telstra admitted that demand was much higher than expected globally and that demand from its customers was “beyond amazing.” Telstra has also revealed that stock has been limited globally, which may mean that stocks could run thin if they have not done so already in other markets around the world.

Hopefully, these are signs of good times ahead for Nokia as well as Microsoft and the new Windows Phone 8 platform.  For the Telstra customers, Lumia 920 stock should be replenished by November 27th.
