The Firefox browser for Android has just been updated to support handsets which use ARMv6-based processors. Even though this technology is a bit old, Mozilla believes that about 50% of all Android devices in use today are powered by such chips. Some of the more popular models using ARMv6 SoCs include the HTC Aria, HTC Legend, LG Optimus One, Motorola CLIQ XT, Samsung Galaxy Ace, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and Acer Liquid mini.
In addition, Firefox for Android has gotten a number of accessibility features, like TalkBack integration, as well as support for Explore by Touch and Gesture Navigation for visually-impaired users.
