We have seen plenty of images of the forthcoming BlackBerry 10 L-Series (aka London) touchscreen device. These new images, many shot by Mr. Blurrycam, show the new BlackBerry 10 icons and network connectivity options. The rest of the images show some familiar BlackBerry features (like the clock) and more angles of the device itself.
Keen eyes will see mobile hotspot, tethering and VPN settings. Also, we can see through the haze a Dropbox and YouTube app on the homescreen. We have seen the 1800mAh LS1 battery before but still do not know what its expected performance may be with the device, or even if it will be the actual source of power in the final product. We also see room for a microSD card.
While the pictures are not the greatest, the new home screen icons indicate that they were taken quite recently. BlackBerry 10 devices have seen more than their fair share of images and videos over the past several months. We are still intrigued, but are eager to see more of its QWERTY N-Series cousin.
BlackBerry 10 L-Series
1. New icons
The subtle change in the icons gives each a bit more space within its designated "rectangle," making them a little smaller, but improving the look from the "blocks" they once were.
2. Network ready
It will be ready for whatever type of communication protocol you throw at it, from NFC and Wi-Fi to VPN.
3. LS1 Battery
The LS1 battery is said to be 1800mAh. We do not know how that will translate in to performance of the device though.

Good to see some familiar features of BlackBerry will stay with the new OS.
