The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 received a minor update

Asus announced a minor update for the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 which brings software version V10.4.4.18 to the tablet, but Android 4.1.1 remains. Android 4.1.2 will have to wait for another update as users basically receivedfixes for a number of issues. Problems with Wi-Fi, the QWERTY keyboard and the camera were addressed with the update.

Asus is quickly gaining a reputation of being quick to send out updates whether they are for the latest OS build or to make some minor repairs. This can only endear the manufacturer to its customers and could be one of the reasons why Asus was selected to produce the Google Nexus 7 tablets. After all, the Nexus line was developed for quick and easy OS updates. Which reminds us, the update did arrive OTA making downloading and installing it a breeze
