Google's Nexus site redesign references plural "phones"

Not all of the best stories today has come from IFA in Berlin. Actually, not all of the best stories have necessarily been "news" per se. One of the most interesting developments from our perspective has come from a simple redesign of Google's official Nexus website. The Google Nexus site has always been a good resource for getting info on Nexus devices, and it has just been redesigned.

The redesign cleans up the navigation of the site with a new hidden navigation menu on the left, but it's what you'll find in that navigation menu that's quite interesting. The navigation drawer has links for the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 along with a Support link, and a way to find a local retailer, but the key is that it doesn't list the Nexus 4.

Instead, the drawer has a link for "Phones" as in more than one phone. It's possible that this is because the Nexus 4 is on its way out, and Google doesn't want to out the official name of the Nexus 5. Or, it could be because there will be more than one Nexus phone this fall. We've seen the LG Nexus, but there have been rumors of a potential Motorola Nexus as well.

Maybe both rumors are real?
