Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is up for pre-order in Germany

Well, that didn't take long. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 may have been announced officially only minutes ago, yet this particular online retailer is already willing to take your money in case you want to buy one.

Notebooks Billiger in Germany has the device listed in its database (under the GT-I9200 model name) bearing a price tag of €699 – unlocked, with no carrier branding. That's the equivalent of $915, which is a steep price indeed, even for a device of this caliber. Of course, the smartphone can be had for much less as long as you don't mind signing a long-term carrier contract. 

You'll probably notice that the retailer has used a Galaxy Note II press image for its database entry, but that's because the pre-order page was put up several hours prior to the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 announcement. They were either following the rumor mill closely, or knew about the phone's existence in advance. 

The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is expected to hit the shelves across parts of Europe in May. In case you want one, perhaps it would be wise to wait for a while and see what other retailers will be asking for it, instead of impulsively dropping a whopping €699 on the table.
