Looks like we have a new major entry in the Android benchmark field - Futuremark has released 3DMark Android Edition! The new benchmark tool will let you test your mobile device's performance and compare it with results of other devices, including ones powered by iOS and Windows.This version of 3DMark features the beautiful Ice Storm Extreme test, which will surely make your Android device sweat. It's available on Android and Windows right now, but it should soon come to iOS and Windows RT as well.
Tech site AnandTech has already put a bunch of devices to the test and by the looks of it, the Google Nexus 4 by LG is the current leader in the graphics tests, while the HTC One takes the cake in the physics-based tests.
