Chinese manufacturer Lenovo, one of a trio of Chinese smartphone manufacturers that have been moving up the smartphone global market share charts (the other two are ZTE and Huawei, of course), seems to have a couple of new phones for its domestic market. The two models that have leaked are theLenovo S820 and the Lenovo S920. Of the pair, more is known about the latter device, which would fit in the phablet category.
The Lenovo S920 offers a 5.3 inch display with a thin bezel, and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor. The device supports dual SIM capabilities and will be powered by a 2250mAh battery. And guess what? Android 4.2 is installed out of the box.
As we alluded to earlier, not much is known about the Lenovo S820, although it is said to be made for women, and will have the same quad-core MediaTek processor that is running the show on the S920. Both models are being targeted at buyers of mid-range handsets, so don't expect to see a 1080p display on either unit. For that crowd, a 720p resolution panel does just fine.
