Nokia is beginning a series of Twitter chats on Tuesday. The first host of the #AskNokia series will be Pino Bonneti, the Social Media Lead for HERE Maps. If you have a question pertaining to HERE Maps and other location-based services, you can ask the question and look for the response during the chat, which will be held between 9am to 10am PDT, which is 12pm to 1pm on the East Coast.
The chat will be hosted by @NokiaUS and questions from the @HEREMaps account will be answered. Make sure to use the hashtag #AskNokia when you send the tweet. HEREMaps is currently available on the Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 820, Nokia Lumia 810, Nokia Lumia 822, and Nokia Lumia 620. It will also be available on the upcoming Nokia Lumia 720, Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 521. HERE Maps provides some of the features you would expect from any smartphone mapping service including turn-by-turn navigation. Where HERE differs is that it displays a large number of points of interest that surround you no matter your current location. Places like restaurants, theaters or museums, to name just a few, are pointed out to the HERE Maps user. HERE also works while you're offline.
We suspect that Nokia will provide other executives/experts covering other Nokia Lumia features in upcoming #AskNokia chats. Stay tuned!
