Is Instagram ever coming to Windows Phone? The sad truth is that nobody knows for sure. What we do know, however, is that many a WP user wish the popular photo editing and sharing app was available on their platform of choice. And someone has to do something about it.
That someone, apparently, would be Nokia itself. The company just released a new Windows Phone application called "#2InstaWithLove", the purpose of which is to grab the attention of Instagram developers. Simply put, the app adds an Instagram-like filter on a photo one shares through it on a social network and adds the aforementioned hashtag to the post. The application can be applied as a Nokia Lens or used on its own.
Assuming enough momentum is built through #2InstaWithLove, the guys at Instagram might finally respond to the plea of those Windows Phone users and launch a client for Microsoft's OS as well.
