LG LS720, a mid-range Android model, breaks bread with the FCC

Earlier Friday morning (or was it late Thursday night?) we passed along to you information about the LG E980's trip to the FCC. But that didn't mean that the Korean manufacturer was done passing devices through the agency. Now comes word that what appears to be a mid-range Android model, the LG LS720 has taken some time to meet with the FCC, possibly even sharing a meal in the FCC commissary.

Not nearly the same amount of information is known about this device compared to what appears to be the LG Optimus G Pro for AT&T. We do know that the LG LS720 carries LTE bands compatible with Sprint and User Agent info suggests that this handset will launch with Android 4.1 installed out of the box. The model number, below LG's 800 series and 900 series suggests a mid-range device, perhaps even a sequel to the LG Optimus Slider (LG LS700) for Virgin Mobile.
