Toys are getting very complex these days. Unfortunately, some toy guns are so real that they have scared law-enforcement officers and shop-keepers alike. Considering the number of kids who constantly demand that their parents buy them their own Apple iPhone 5, it is no surprise that Apple's iconic smartphone has become the next product to be turned into a toy for the kiddies. The interesting thing is that the home screen includes the icon for Cydia which would indicate that this toy has been "jailbroken" right from the factory. And knowing how "with it" today's kids are, those with the toy are going to compare it to their Mom's iPhone and ask why her model doesn't have that icon on it. Which means explaining to a 2 year old about jailbreaking an Apple iPhone, risking the warranty, etc.Actually, the problem with selling a dollar store version of the Apple iPhone 5 is that two year olds are getting the real thing these days. Perhaps the toy can come in handy when you need to stop your pain in the butt Mother-in-law who keeps calling on her land line. Convince her that the toy is the real thing. First, you will score some points with her for giving her such an expensive and thoughtful gift, and secondly, she will keep trying to reach you on the plastic toy. But if you tell her that the carrier is having some connectivity problems and to keep trying, she'll continue to scream into the fake phone, trying to get through to you. Finally, she'll just give up.
