Samsung Galaxy Note now being updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

And the latest smartphone to get some Jelly Bean love is the Samsung Galaxy Note – the international model of the device, to be more specific, bearing the model number GT-N7000. The update brings the handset's Android version to 4.1.2 and introduces a whole bunch of welcome improvements.

One of them is the Nature UX interface, which is now present instead of the old TouchWiz UI. In other words, the Samsung Galaxy Note will get features like Direct Call, Smart Stay, Multi-view and Pop-up Play with the new update. Also, the notification bar has been given an overhaul and comes with more toggle switches. Of course, goodies like Google Now and Project Butter are on board.

In case your Samsung Galaxy Note has not yet received its dose of Android 4.1.2, you'll just have to be patient. Software update roll out in stages and require some time before they reach everyone. Currently, Jelly Bean for the Galaxy Note is only live in Hong Kong and Taiwan, but other parts of the world should follow soon. Carrier-branded Samsung Galaxy Note models, however, might take a bit longer to get the update.
