Pusha T, French Montana Shoot 'Guerrilla' Video For 'Doesn't Matter'

'This is one day's notice, and everybody's here,' Pusha tells MTV News of shooting with French in Brooklyn.

Pusha T's Wrath of Caine mixtape gives fans something to savor until he drops his official studio debut, but even with a street album, the G.O.O.D Music rapper doesn't cut corners. On Thursday night, French Montana joined him in Brooklyn to shoot a video for the single "Doesn't Matter."
The two rappers filmed the clip in downtown Brooklyn — not too far from the Barclays Center — with Vinnie's Styles as the backdrop. "Vinnie's Styles is one of the premier boutique clothing stores, and we're guerrilla-ing this right now," Pusha T told MTV News of putting together the last-minute video shoot, where Prodigy came out to show some love. "It's 10 or 11 o'clock right now, and we're shooting. This is one day's notice, and everybody's here. The stars are aligning.

"It's featuring French," he added. "I'm really into French and what he does musically, and I think that matches what I do lyrically."
It was another chilly night in New York City, but that didn't slow them down. Pusha was decked out in a black blazer with red detailing, complemented by his fiery red kicks and a blue beanie. "Look, man, the weather ... you know it's cold out here, so we just gotta be focused, and the record's dope, so I don't think it's that hard [to shoot]," Pusha said.
French, who turned up in a studded black leather jacket, was more than happy to brave the cold to support Pusha. "Pusha's always been vouching for me, and I've always been vouching for him, [because] we doing the same thing," Montana said. "Our style is almost similar to each other, so when we get on tracks, we just tell what we know."
Earlier in the week, Pusha told MTV News that Wrath of Caine was inspired by Big Daddy Kane and his intricate wordplay on the "Wrath of Kane."
