Smartphones might be growing larger and larger in size, but bucking that trend is a different kind of a device, a wireless charger by LG that aims to become the world’s smallest.
Measuring a meager 6.9cm in diameter, the LG WCP-300 is a little black puck compatible with your standard 5-pin microUSB chargers. It of course complies with the Qi wireless charging standards that make it compatible with a large number of devices.
If you are wondering which of the devices out there support it, both the Nexus 4 and LG Spectrum will work with the LG WCP-300 wireless charger.
The WCP-300 will roll out in South Korea next week priced at around $60, and a global and U.S. release is yet to be detailed.
