Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are set to headline with Ellie Goulding, Twenty One Pilots, Public Enemy and more at the show.
Let's admit it: We're all dreaming of the beach in February (especially after Nemo, right?). While we can't send you to the sandy coasts ourselves, we can still give summer-lovers some awesome news. Kings of Leon, Kendrick Lamar and tons more are playing at 2013's Hangout Music Festival. Now if it could only be May now!
Gulf Shores, Alabama, will be the place to be on May 17, 18 and 19, when The Breeders, 21 Pilots, Ellie Goulding, Jim James, The Shins, The Roots, Public Enemy and more take the stage. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Kings of Leon are headlining.
For those unable to make the trek down South, MTV, VH1, CMT and Logo has you covered. Keep it locked to their TV channels and digital properties for exclusive access to the festival. After MTV News chilled out at the fest last year, we'll be sure to show you around again.
This is the fourth year for the Hangout Festival, which featured Dave Matthews Band last year and the Foo Fighters in 2011. A third headliner for 2013 has yet to be announced. The anticipation!
Here's the full lineup (with updates to come). Tickets for the beach fest will go on sale Friday.
