Recently, Apple sent out iOS 6.1.1 to repair a problem that was affecting some owners of the Apple iPhone 4S, leaving them with no voice or data connectivity.Vodafone warned its customers using the model not to update their phones to iOS 6.1 as those who did update the phone suddenly found themselves unable to make or take calls, send or receive texts and browse the internet.
The latest problem with iOS 6.1 involves the passcode lock. A glitch in the software allows someone to break into a passcode protected Apple iPhone using the method that is described in the video below. So we would expect to see iOS 6.1.2 very soon? Is that a yes? Until a fix is sent out, don't expect to completely safeguard your phone by using the passcode lock.
