Apple launches iOS 6.1.1 to fix Apple iPhone 4S problems

You might recall that on Friday we told you that U.K. carrier Vodafone had warned its customers sporting the Apple iPhone 4S not to download iOS 6.1. as those who had installed the software were finding it impossible to connect to the internet, make or take calls, or send and receive text messages. Now, Apple has released iOS 6.1.1 which corrects the problem. The update is available only for those using the Apple iPhone 4S and can be found by clicking on the sourcelink.

Apple iPhone 4S users are getting a bug fix
Apple released a note with the update that simply says, "This update fixes an issue that could impact cellular performance and reliability for iPhone 4S." The iOS 6.1.1 update is a hefty 968MB. Meanwhile, some Apple iPhone 5 users have complained about what they perceive to be excessive battery drainon iOS 6 and some models of the phone are still having problems connecting to Microsoft Exchange servers since the launch of iOS 6. Apple has not said when it would release a fix for that problem. Until the problem is resolved, some corporate users will continue to block functrions related to corporate invitations.
