Microsoft Surface RT owners, here's a neat trick you can try. Apparently, someone has discovered that by tweaking the Windows registry, the responsiveness of the tablet's touchscreen can be increased noticeably. That happens at the expense of a (probably marginal) drop in battery life, but the hack is still worth trying since it is reversible. Care to give it a shot? To adjust the responsiveness of a Windows RT tablet's touchscreen, one must access the system registry using the Regedit tool. Now, in case you don't know what that's all about, you should probably just ask someone with the right experience to do that for you, or just don't tweak anything at all. Once you're in Regedit, find the following key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\TouchPredict ion". Then change the "latency" and "sample time" values from 8 to 2. Other values should probably work as well – the lower the digit, the better the responsiveness should be. Give your tablet a restart and feel the difference.
