Haylor ring in 2013 together in Times Square after her performance on 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve'
Taylor Swift had the perfect date to ring in 2013 with when she was in Times Square on Monday night. Swift spent New Year's Eve with her pal and rumored beau, One Direction singer Harry Styles. And, they weren't shy about their feelings for each other.
Swift was in town to take the stage for "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" (where she performed "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together") and in the moments before the clock struck 2013, she was right in the thick of the action, standing among the crowd with Styles, in a video posted online. The two shared a New Year's kiss and hug to the tunes of "Auld Lang Syne" and the Frank Sinatra classic, "New York, New York."
While neither kisser has addressed their romance since they sparked Haylor rumors back in early December, they did open up about kicking off a brand spankin' New Year on Twitter. Swift tweeted, "There are 13's EVERYWHERE. This is PERFECT." (13 is very famously Swift's lucky number.)
Meanwhile, Styles thanked his fans for all their love in 2012. "Happy New Year! To everyone who has supported us, We can never thank you enough. We know we can't do this without you. We love you all. xx," he wrote. "It's 2013."
Their NYE kiss marked the latest date for the two, who had been spotted all around the globe together throughout the majority of December. They partied in NYC after One Direction's headlining gig at Madison Square Garden, celebrated Taylor's birthday in England and were side-by-side when Harry got a tattoo in Los Angeles.
Ahead of his NYE date with Swift, 1D opened up to MTV News about their highly successful 2012, including what moment, for them, really stood out from the last year.
"I think it's always a really hard question when we get asked our top moment," Styles further explained. "Madison Square Garden was definitely one of the top things we've ever done and will ever do. I think it just topped off an amazing year for us, and it's just been amazing."
