Now here's a smartphone, the kind of which you don't see every day – an Android handset packing a portrait-style QWERTY keyboard. The device in the photos is the yet-unannounced Samsung GT-B7810 and it is shaping up to be a successor to the Galaxy M Pro. Not much in terms of specs is known at this time, but it is said that the smartphone comes with a 480 by 360 pixel display and a 1,200mAh battery. There's also a camera of some kind on its back, presumably of unimpressive quality. Android 4.0.4 is said to come installed out of the box.
It is speculated that the Samsung GT-B7810 could be a cheap, entry-level Android smartphone meant to launch in Central or South America. On the other hand, we might be looking at a handset that Samsung decided to scrap before launching. Either way, there's probably not a whole lot of people thrilled about a QWERTY Android like this.
