Pantech is a brand name that we don't mention often, although the Korean company does have some decent Android offerings in its portfolio. One of them is the recently announced Pantech Discover, which AT&T will launch on January 11.
Yet it looks like the smartphone maker has more of its devices coming to the U.S. market. What you see in the image is the Pantech Perception (model ADR930L), which just leaked – an Android smartphone for Verizon offering LTE connectivity. The handset comes with a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 system-on-a-chip doing all the number crunching. On its front we have a display of respectable size sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels.
Unfortunately, the source of the leak does not provide any further specs for the Pantech Perception. Its price has not been mentioned either, but our intuition tells us that Verizon might market the smartphone as an affordable, yet capable Android offering.
