The Nexus 7 tablet was among the first to bring a no-compromise experience down to very, very affordable price levels and right now at CES 2013 we are starting to see the effect of this and how Android is pushing the envelope further with various manufacturers announcing even more affordable tablets.
But the original Nexus 7 is still one of the most popular tablets out there and good news is it will finally get an official docking station made by Asus and it’s going on sale in the next two weeks. The price is set at $39.99 and we are already seeing it hit the listings on retailers such as B&H where the release date is January 16th.
The dock itself has a microUSB port and a 3.5mm jack so you can charge it and hook it up to your sound system while it’s docked.
