Liveblog: Samsung's CES 2013 keynote

We already saw Samsung's press-conference here at CES 2013, but now it's time for the company's keynote! To tell you the truth, we were a bit disappointed by the press-conference, because we didn't see much in the way of mobile, but who knows, this might be our lucky day!

Join us as we bring you live updates from the keynote of Samsung's president, Dr. Stephen Woo. Will we see something new by the South Korean giant? Stay with us and find out!

12:28And it looks like we're about to wrap up with this. Dr. Woo is back on stage for closing remarks.

12:27And now he's circling back about how tech in this day and age can make change in the world. From energy consumption to healthcare.
12:22He's moving away from tech a little bit to talk about recent gun related tragedies; such as what happened in Colorado & Connecticut.

11:55Wow!! It's absolutely cool to see the possibilities about flexible OLEDs, but so far no actual device.

11:54They have this device that has a display on the outside, but folds open to an even larger screen. Looks pretty solid.

11:53They just showed off a few Youm prototype that flex and rely on plastic to bend. Lots of wows from the crowds. Interesting stuff!!

11:50They're developing a new ten inch display that consumers 25% less juice. No specifics on it though.

11:26Aside from the somewhat awkward load time for the game, it's now running smoothly. Yeah, it looks nice.

11:25EA's Glenn Roland is now on stage to show the gaming performance of the new exynos 5 Octa on a "reference device."
11:24Transitioning now into gaming, it'll be interesting to see how it handles against NVIDIA's new TEGRA SoC.
11:22Some quick demos surrounding the multi tasking prowess of the exynos 5 Octa. So far, it's all being shown in slide form. No actual device.
