Foxconn, the China based manufacturer best known for assembling the Apple iPhoneand Apple iPad as well as other smartphones and electronic products, reported record monthly revenues for the second consecutive month.The sequential monthly growth rate for the company was 2.62% and year-over-year the figure was 13.88%. Non-consolidated revenue for December was NT$360.944 billion (US$12.38 billion USD). Foxconn explained that strong shipments of consumer electronics and communications products were behind the gains in monthly revenue.
The strong shipments also led to record quarterly non-consolidated revenue in the fourth quarter of NT$988.379 billion ($33.9 billion USD). And for the entire year, Foxconn set yet another record with 2012 non-consolidated revenue tipping the scale at NT$3.22 trillion ($110 billion USD). That is a 16.09% increase over 2011.
