Xiaomi MI-3 said to arrive in mid-2013 with quad-core Tegra 4

Xiaomi MI-3 said to arrive in mid-2013 with quad-core Tegra 4
The Xiaomi Mi Two has just launched in China for a very affordable price tag and packing cream-of-the-crop hardware, but this doesn’t stop rumors from already start spreading about the next generation Xiaomi. The Chinese smartphone maker, bringing us the MIUI ROM-based Android Xiaomi Mi phones, is now said to introduce the third generation device in the middle of 2013 with the yet unannounced quad-core Tegra 4, with LTE and 2.5GB of RAM.

What’s more, the Xiaomi Mi-3 will feature a bigger, 4.5-inch display from Japan Display Co. with very high pixel count. We don’t yet have the exact details, and all aforementioned is still only a rumor.

The juiciest part of the rumor is the Tegra 4 chip of course. A quad-core setup by Nvidia, it is based on the Cortex A15 architecture, with each core running at 1.8GHz to 2GHz.

Finally, the camera is said to be a 12-megapixel one, and Xiaomi has been constantly improving the quality of its camera, so hopefully it will be better in this one as well.
