From Miley to Demi and everything in between, MTV News lists our top five for tonight's show, airing at 9 p.m. ET on VH1.
It's almost show time! Tonight, "VH1 Divas" goes live from L.A., and it's going to be quite the event, thanks to performances from Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, Pitbull, Metric, Iggy Azalea and more.
Oh, yeah, let's not forget: The always unpredictable Adam Lambert has been enlisted to host the show and probably turn out a few surprises here and there.
Before you tune in, MTV News has compiled a wish list of what we want to see when the show airs live on VH1 at 9 p.m. ET tonight from the Shrine Auditorium in the City of Angels.

It's Miley!
We're not sure Miley will kick it as NSFW as she did a few weeks back when she took the stage with Borgore, but we imagine that with an album in the works, she's going to do something to remember. Will she play new music? Will she "Party in the U.S.A."? If we have our say, we kind of hope it all makes the cut.

Demi 's "X Factor"
We've been watching this season of "X Factor" hoping Demi might put on a performance or two. She hasn't yet, which means we're thrilled that she's been tapped to take the stage at this year's "Divas." With such a big voice and so much 'tude, this event seems like the perfect one for a Lovato showstopper. We're just wondering: Is she taking requests?

Like a Lambert
Madonna's team personally anointed Lambert with the task of tackling a Madge tune. We wouldn't want that kind of pressure, but if anyone can handle it, it's the "American Idol" alum. And he seems pretty excited about the challenge. "I really look up to her, so it's going to be a real thrill to perform one of her songs — but I'm not going to tell you which one," he teased. Might we suggest "Music"?

Sparkles and Glitter and Sequins, Oh My!
Nothing defines a diva more than what she's wearing! And we plead and beg to see the divas dripping in sparkles, sequins, glitter and eye-catching costumes. But given what Miley has been decked out in lately, we just hope she remembers to keep it PG-13.

Fallen Divas
They might be gone, but they won't be forgotten. The show plans to pay tribute to two of its biggest divas: Whitney Houston (Jordin Sparks, Ledisi and Melanie Fiona) and Donna Summer (Kelly Rowland, Keri Hilson and Adam Lambert). It will be a bit sad to say "goodbye" to those great women on a program where they always shined so bright, but also truly inspiring to see their legacies remembered.
