Toshiba has introduced a 10.1 inch Android tablet with Android 4.1 pre-installed. The Toshiba Excite 10 SE is powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 Super 4-PLUS-1 processor, and is certainly priced to sell with a MSRP of $349.99. The 10.1-inch diagonal AutoBrite™ HD touchscreen display3 shows vibrant colors and the version of the Tegra 3 under the hood has an extra fifth core that is used for certain tasks, freeing up the other cores for heavy lifting and saving you some battery life.

The Toshiba Excite 10 SE offers SRS® Premium Voice Pro stereo speakers, a 3MP shooter on back and an HD front-facing camera as well. It comes with 16GB of native storage and will be available from ToshibaDirect starting on Thursday. Toshiba hasn't released a list of specs for the tablet, but did note that it is .4 inches thick and weighs 22.6 ounces.
