Stevie Wonder cancels Israel fundraiser concert

WASHINGTON - Legendary American singer and United Nations Ambassador of Peace, Stevie Wonder, has pulled out of a concert raising money for the Friends of the Israel Defence Forces, according to US media reports.

The singer was scheduled to perform at the Los Angeles event on December 6.

In a statement, Wonder said: “I am and have always been against war, any war, anywhere.”
