Once again, the existence of a yet-to-be-announced smartphone has been confirmed via the GLBenchmark website. The smartphone in question is the Samsung SCH-S960L, which appears to be a high-end model, judging by its hardware and software specs.
What we know about the Samsung S960L is that it has a Snapdragon S4 SoC running at 1.5GHz. Qualcomm's dual-core MSM8960 has been used. The smartphone has a display with a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels, yet its physical dimensions remain unknown at this time. Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is what runs on the S960L that got tested, and that's probably what the smartphone will ship with.
That's all that the benchmark data revealed, so we aren't really sure what the Samsung S960L is. No details about it are available at the FCC either. Perhaps the smartphone is a variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III, bound for a virtual carrier in the U.S., but that's just pure speculation at this time. What's your guess?
