HP EliteBook Revolve 11.6" convertible comes with a swivel, but Windows 8 gobbled the stylus

HP EliteBook Revolve 11.6HP announced Revolve, the next in its EliteBook convertible series, and as you can guess, it is still focused at the business crowd, though the introduction of Windows 8 by Microsoft makes things a bit different this time.

First off, there is no stylus input, due to the fingertip-friendly nature of Microsoft's newest OS version, but you still keep the swiveling design that slaps the 11.6" screen part onto the keyboard to turn the convertible into a tablet of sorts.

Screen resolution is run-of-the-mill 1366x768 pixels, which is still decent at this size, and there is rubberized finish instead of the usual brushed alloy surfaces we are used to. the EliteBook Revolve is compliant with MIL-STD 810G military standards, and weighs less than three pounds.

It can be outfitted with Core i3, i5 or even i7 processors, and SSD up to 256 GB, plus there is an empty slot if you want to expand the standard 4 GB of memory. HP throws in a SIM card slot, too, for your carrier's LTE or HSPA+ network, and is yet to disclose the price and retail date for the Revolve.
