SKYFALL has set a new box office record in the UK.
The 23rd James Bond film secured the biggest seven-day gross of all time, outstripping last year’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2. Skyfall has taken a total of £37.2 million in its opening week at the UK box office.
Screenwriter John Logan will return to pen Bond 24 and Bond 25, which were initially reported to be a two-part single story.
However, the two-parter element was later denied by Craig who insisted that such a Bond story would be “an impossibility”. Skyfall will be released in the US on November 9.
