Samsung Ativ S launch pushed to December in some markets

The Samsung Ativ S is the third option in the Windows Phone 8 ecosystem along with HTC’s Windows Phone 8X and Nokia Lumia 920 among others, but now it has been delayed. In the UK at least, Clove, one of the biggest local retailers has changed the release date for Samsung’s Windows Phone to December.

The Ativ S looked like a solid third option with a price right in between the more affordable HTC 8X and more expensive Lumia 920. It comes with a sturdy aluminum body, and all the usual Snapdragon inner works of a Windows Phone.

But was it for some local issues, or something else, Clove UK now announced that “first stock [is] delayed until week commencing December 10th.”

Let’s hope that it is just this retailer.
