Johnny Depp calls in One Direction

JOHNNY DEPP won’t have to queue up to buy his daughter the One Direction dolls for Christmas. Not when he can summon the real thing with a click of his fingers.

The movie A-lister arranged for Lily Rose to meet the lads at the recording studio inside his house in LA. She’s a massive fan of the band and asked her dad to pull some strings.

A source said: “Johnny found out 1D was in town and, after making a few calls, they came round to his studio. He brought out his piano and guitars for the boys to test and they had a little jam session. Lily Rose just watched with her blushing mates while her dad temporarily joined the world’s biggest boyband.”

At 13, The Pirates Of The Caribbean star’s little girl is the band’s target audience. She’ll soon be the envy of all her mates once again as her old man has invited them back for a glass of whisky when they are legally old enough to drink it.

The lads haven’t just been entertaining Hollywood’s elite since they arrived in the States. They were surrounded by 5,000 fans during a special appearance on the Ellen Degeneres show in New York.

Harry Styles took the opportunity to explain his latest tattoos - a pair of feathered friends on his chest.

He said: “I got two little birdies. I like them, they’re kind of like sailory, about, like, travelling. Birds fly. We fly a lot.”
