iOS 6.1 in beta, here are some of the new features

Siri will buy you movie tickets but not the popcorn

So what does Apple have in store for iOS 6.1? With the latest build of Apple's mobile OS in beta, some of the new features are leaking out. We already know about Siri's new found ability to purchase movie tickets for you and perhaps in the next build, she can watch the film with you and eat popcorn! Apple Maps may or may not be improved, but if you do have a problem, there is now an easier way to report it. This is actually good news since hearing the exact problems from Apple Map users will make it easier to fix. One cosmetic change has been made. On the lock screen, the music controls are now spaced apart more, making them more comfortable to use.

Ok, so this is not going to change the world and unless you're a movie buff who can't spell Fandango, you probably won't ever ask Siri to buy movie tickets for you. But progress is progress. Remember, Apple just released iOS 6.0.1 at the beginning of this month to fix a number of bugs.
