Google Play lists the first Nexus 4 accessory: a bumper case

The time is ticking down and in just a handful of hours the Google Nexus 4 is expected to go on sale in the Google Play Store. And, a new listing has popped up alongside the Nexus 4, the first accessory to be made available will be a bumper case.

This is pretty nice and all, but it is a bit of a disappointment, because of course the accessory that we all really want to see for the Nexus 4 is the 

Wireless Charging Orb. Unfortunately, we still don't know when that will be listed or how much it will cost. 

However, if you're looking for a way to keep your new Nexus 4 protected from some drop damage, while still showing off the neat pattern that adorns the back plate of the phone, this bumper case should do the trick. It is a bit expensive at $19.99, which seems like a bit much for a simple bumper case. But, it's a good way to protect your phone without adding much weight or bulk. 

No word on a release date, but it seems likely the bumper case will be made available tomorrow when the Nexus 4 goes on sale.
