The Acer Iconia Tab A220 is powered by a quad-core Tegra 3 chip by NVIDIA, as the data contained in the listing reveals. The CPU has a maximum operating frequency of 1.3GHz, which is a bit lower than what other Tegra 3 devices run at, presumably in order to prolong battery life. Our guess is that the screen will be of 10.1 inches, just like the case is with the Acer Iconia Tab A210, and its resolution is said to be 1280 by 800 pixels. Last but not least, it appears that the tablet will run Android 4.1.2 out of the box. Further details are still up in the air at this time.
Judging by its specs, the Acer Iconia Tab A220 is probably going to be a reasonably-priced 10-inch Android tablet. We aren't really sure exactly when the device will be available for purchase, but who knows, perhaps Acer will try to launch it in time for the holiday shopping spree. If not, then an announcement in early 2013 seems likely.
