The Windows Phone ecosystem is about to get a whole lot more diverse with the introduction of Windows Phone 8 and a bunch of new screen sizes, and more importantly, higher screen resolutions. Luckily, the Internet is here to help with a handy size comparison chart to help you navigate the new options.
The guide has been put together a couple of different times over the past couple days, but this is the best one we've seen so far. It's a great comparison of both Windows Phone 8 handsets that span the form factors from 4" (the HTC 8S, which sadly only has a 480x800 resolution) to the mammoth 4.9" 720x1280 Samsung ATIV S. Interesting to note with the WP8 devices that the Nokia Lumia 920 is not only the one device to have a resolution higher than 720x1280, but it does have a larger screen than the HTC 8X. The HTC 8X is just taller and not as broad.
Some have expressed concern that there is no more 3.7" device in the WP8 stable, but that seems like complaining for the sake of complaining. We can understand those that don't feel comfortable with a device that has a screen of 4.5" or larger, but if your hand can't get used to the extra 4mm of height and 2 mm of width between the HTC 8S and the Lumia 800, we're not sure what to tell you.
