We have a video for you to see that we know is going to interest you. The great thing is that it won't take that much of your time, only 5 seconds. That is the length of a video on YouTube that shows the beastly Google Nexus 10 tablet in action. We won't see the tablet being introduced on Monday as we had hoped thanks to Hurricane Sandy (aka Frankenstorm), and we doubt that 5 seconds of video will replace seeing the tablet being introduced. Still, until Google reschedules its media event, it is the best that we can offer.
The Google Nexus 10 is built by Samsung and was known internally as "Manta". The 2560 x 1600 resolution on the 10 inch screen brings a 299ppi pixel density to the device which surpasses the 264ppi figure on the third-generation Apple iPad 3. While under the hood is a dual-core 1.7GHz Exynos processor, it is a 5250 which makes it a Cortex A-15 chip that actually outperforms the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. The ARM Mali-T604 GPU also provides outstanding performance. In other words, this is the Android tablet that can compete with the Apple iPad in a different way that those low-priced 7 inch models do.
If you want to check out the Google Nexus 10, grab some popcorn, sit back and click the play button. Don't blink or you might miss it.
