According to Motorola’s official Canadian Twitter feed, Rogers has the RAZR HD LTE (as it is called in that market) exclusively and it is now available. Referring to its “all day battery” the Droid cousin to the north is presumably the Droid RAZR MAXX HD which will arrive on Verizon’s shelves shortly.
With the Rogers launch, it is possible that Verizon may release the Droid twins on October 18th, which would coincide with their latest expansion of the carrier’s rapidly growing LTE network. Sources have said that training for the new devices has been underway and that the date is set. The pricing has not been officially confirmed but, the Droid RAZR HD will likely run $199 with a two-year contract and the Droid RAZR MAXX HD will jump to $299 for the same agreement.
We had learned about some possible antenna issues affecting the two devices, and how their effectiveness might degrade as the user touches them. It is possible that those issues have been resolved now that a version of the handset is now available.
