First “real life” pictures of Verizon Nokia Lumia 822 emerge

Hot on the heels of passing along some of the features and specifications of the Nokia Lumia 822 bound for Verizon, a few pictures of a powered up device have made their way to whet our appetite. 

The pics show a device donning a soft-touch looking cover on the back and heavily rounded corners and edges. In one of the pictures, the device is running Windows Phone 8, build 9900. We still do not know if that is what will be on the final release.

As the device has not been officially announced yet, it is not known when it will be available to buy, but it would probably have a different launch date from the HTC 8X which is also expected to make its debut on Big Red.

Nokia Lumia 822

1. 4.3 inch WVGA screen in front

Along with the screen is a front facing camera, and you can see that Nokia Drive+ is present as well.  The screen has a resolution of 480x800.

2. 8 megapixel with Carl Zeiss lens

The rounded edges are very pronounced which means that the device will be quite comfortable to hold.

3. Nokia model "id102"

This device is running Windows Phone 8, build 9900 which may, or may not be what makes it to market.
