The CyanogenMod M2, which is based on Android 4.1, can be flashed on a wide range of devices, including variants of the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S II, even the very first Galaxy S. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Sony Xperia S, and the Google Nexus 7 are also on the list. New smartphones are expected to be supported eventually. In case an M-series ROM isn't available for your handset, you can always try a nightly build, although it still might have a glitch or two.
Anyone who wishes to get the new M release can do so via CM Updater or ROM Manager, or just get it manually from the CyanogenMod download page. The CyanogenMod team is aiming to launch a new M release every month, so user feedback is greatly appreciated. Download links and more techy information are available at the source link below.
