Smartphone owners who use their phone to take pictures will be happy to hear that the latest PureView technologywill be included in the 8MP camera on the back of the Nokia Lumia 920. The camera allows five times the light in without flash as other smartphone cameras do, which allows you to take bright and clear pictures indoors and at night. While the shooter in back captures video in 1080p at 30fps, the one upfront will record in 720p.
Also aboard is Nokia City Lens which is an augmented reality program that is integrated with Nokia Maps to help you learn about landmarks and building in your area, while at the same time pointing out shopping and dining experiences and places for entertainment. The 4.5 inch Gorilla Glass 2, PureMotion HD+ ClearBlack screen on the Nokia Lumia 920 will be able to register a touch from a fingernail and even from someone wearing gloves. 1GB of RAM is aboard the device, which is powered by a 2000mAh cell.
The mid-range Nokia Lumia 820 has the same dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 under the hood as its big brother, and comes in black. The color can be changed using changeable shells which will be available in different colors, including one that allows you to wirelessly charge the device. Underneath the shell is where you will find the microSD slot for the device. The 4.3 inch WVGA AMOLED display offers a pixel density of 217ppi with 1GB of RAM inside. 8GB of native storage si included, and the Nokia Lumia 820 features back and front facing cameras of 8MP and .3MP respectively.
